MedAcuity 2019 Company Growth: Building Momentum with Revenue and Team Expansion

MedAcuity was founded in 2007 by two experienced software engineers who wanted to break away from traditional development methods. The company is ISO 13485:2016 certified and specializes in creating next generation software for all types of medical devices. These solutions are designed to improve patient safety and clinical outcomes. Today, over 95% of MedAcuity’s business comes from repeat clients and referrals, including eight of the top 10 global medical device manufacturers.

As MedAcuity entered 2020, the company added five new secure labs to handle the increasing number of projects. It also expanded its office space to over 25,000 square feet. This growth allows room for more than 130 employees, including software engineers and staff in management, recruiting, HR, quality, and IT.
In Q4 2019, MedAcuity welcomed Andy D’Amore as senior vice president of business development. He brings 17 years of sales leadership and deep knowledge of healthcare and MedTech.
